Shree Vihal Steel

Shree Vihal Steel is situated right on Chhani Road. Our specific spot is at number 1, and we are right next to the Tata Motors building. You can’t really miss it because we are also beside the Nava Ramji Mandir. Being located between a major car company and a temple makes for a very busy atmosphere. We have all kinds of steel sections, rods, and pipes around the yard. The sound of metal clanging is something we hear all day long. It's a dusty environment because of the trucks coming in and out from Chhani Road to load up the steel. We spend our time measuring pieces, cutting them to the right length, and helping load them onto trailers or small carts. The temple next door brings a lot of people to the area, so there is always some movement outside our gates. We don't have a fancy office; it’s mostly just a small cabin where we keep the ledger and the phone. The work is heavy and our clothes usually end up with some rust or dirt on them by the end of the shift. We just try to keep the inventory straight and make sure we have what the builders and local guys are looking for. It’s a practical business on a busy road. We open up the gates early and stay until the last load is gone. It's just a regular steel yard serving the Chhani Road area for whatever projects are going on.
