Shree Vaishnavdevi Food Products

Working out of Sardar Estate on Road No 2 is quite a task every day. Our place is Shree Vaishnavdevi Food Products over at Asoj Bannerghatta Road, specifically S R Nagar C-7/B. It’s an industrial area so there is always a lot of dust and noise from the trucks moving around. We spend our mornings getting the machinery ready and checking the supplies that come in. Making food products isn’t as easy as people think. There is a lot of weighing and packing and making sure the seals are tight. We have been in this spot for a while now and we know all the other workshop owners on the lane. It gets very hot in the afternoons inside the unit especially when we are running the heat for processing. We don't have a fancy front office or anything. It’s mostly just the production floor and some storage space in the back. Sometimes the raw materials don't arrive on time and that throws our whole schedule off for the day. You just have to deal with it and work late to catch up. The staff lives nearby and we all just put in the hours to get the orders out. It’s a gritty kind of life here in the estate but it’s what we do. We focus on getting the snacks and products out the door without too much fuss. There’s always a lot of cleaning to do at the end of the shift so we can start fresh.
