Makrani Mukhatiyarali Sabirali

You can find us at the Mantri Market in Hadapsar, which is a fairly busy area to be in. The business is run under the name Makrani Mukhatiyarali Sabirali. I spend most of my day here at the shop, dealing with whatever comes up. The market is always moving, with people coming in for all sorts of things, and it can get quite loud in the afternoons. My space isn't very big, but it has everything I need to get through the day. I have been in Chhota Udepur as well, so I move around a bit depending on what needs to be done. It’s a lot of manual work and talking to people. Sometimes the orders are small, and other times they are quite large, but I treat them all the same. I don't have a big corporate team or anything like that. It’s just me and maybe someone helping out once in a while. I keep a ledger where I write everything down by hand. It’s easier for me that way than using a computer for everything. The market can be tough when the weather is bad, but you just have to keep going. Most of the other shopkeepers around here are friends, so we look out for each other. It’s a decent life, working for yourself and seeing familiar faces every day. I just focus on what’s right in front of me and take it one day at a time.
