A H Surti

A H Surti is based in the Husaini Building. We are at number 6 on Nirankari Street. This is right in the heart of Mandvi. The big landmark is Samar Bechers Pole. If you can find that, you’re basically at our doorstep. This part of town is very old. The streets are narrow and winding. It’s not the easiest place to navigate if you’re in a big car. But it’s where we’ve always been. We like the feel of the old city. There’s a lot of life on Nirankari Street. You hear the vendors and the scooters all day long. Our office in the Husaini Building is quite small. We’ve had to be very organized to make everything fit. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we have a lot of stock. We don't mind it though. It feels cozy. We’ve been here so long that we know every creak in the floorboards. The building has a lot of soul. We don't have any of that modern office equipment that breaks all the time. We just have the basics. Our neighbors are mostly other small businesses. We all help each other out when someone needs a hand. It’s a different way of working than in the big corporate towers. We prefer it this way. It’s more personal. We know our customers by name usually. It’s just how things are done in Mandvi. We're part of the neighborhood fabric. We stay open late most nights when there's work to finish up.
