Shree Maruti Glass & Aluminium

You can find Shree Maruti Glass & Aluminium over at Parag Park, specifically in Shop No. 2-3. We are right opposite Vrundavan Height, which makes it easy for people to find us when they are driving through Parivar Char Rasta on Waghodia Road. It’s a busy corner of the world. We spend our days surrounded by sheets of glass and lengths of aluminium section. There is usually a lot of silver dust on the floor from cutting the frames to size. We handle a lot of window repairs and shopfront stuff for the local buildings around here. It’s not the cleanest job because of the glass shards and the heavy lifting, but we’ve gotten used to it over time. My brother and I usually handle the cutting while the younger guys do the installations. We don't have a big office or a secretary. If you call, one of us will probably answer with a saw running in the background. The shop is a bit small for all the stock we keep, so it gets crowded with materials. We just try to get the glass cut straight and the frames fitted tight so they don't rattle in the wind. People around Waghodia Road know us as the place that’s always got a stack of mirrors leaning against the wall. We just keep our heads down and work until the evening. There is no corporate ladder here, just glass and metal and a lot of hard work.
