Classic Fiber Glass Industries

We've been running Classic Fiber Glass Industries from our spot at Plot 898 in the GIDC estate for some time now. It’s on the first floor, which makes moving the bigger fiberglass pieces a bit of a challenge sometimes, but we manage. If you’ve ever worked with fiberglass, you know it gets everywhere. Our clothes usually have that dusty feel by noon, and the smell of the resin is just something we got used to years ago. We don't have a big fancy showroom or a bunch of people in suits. It is mostly just us in our work gear, messing with molds and making sure the layers are thick enough. People come to us when they need a tank fixed or some custom sheets made. We just do the work as it comes in. The estate is always noisy, but it’s a good place to be if you’re making things. Sometimes the power goes out, or we run low on a specific type of matting, and we just have to figure it out as we go. It’s a simple setup, really. We have our tools, our space, and a lot of fiberglass scraps lying around. It isn't the cleanest job in the world, but it’s what we know how to do. We try to keep things moving so the customers don't have to wait too long. Anyway, that’s pretty much us. Just a small shop in a busy industrial area trying to stay busy.
