Shakumbari Metal Trade Pvt Ltd

We operate out of Pratap Nagar, right at FF-13. It’s a small place, but it fits everything we need for the metal trade. Shakumbari Metal Trade Pvt Ltd has been around for a bit, mostly just buying and selling different types of metal. The office is usually stacked with papers and samples of whatever we are trading that week. It’s not a very quiet job because the phone is always ringing with someone asking for prices. Pratap Nagar is a busy area, so there’s always noise from the street coming through the windows. We don’t have a big staff, just a couple of us who know the market. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or leather chairs. The chairs we have are a bit old, but they work fine. Most of our day is spent checking the rates and talking to the yards. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and wait, maybe have some chai while the fans are off. It’s a simple business. We don't try to impress people with big words or polished presentations. If you want to talk about metal, you just come in and sit down. We keep our records in books mostly, though there is a computer in the corner that we use sometimes. It’s a bit messy, but we know where the important stuff is. We’ve been in this same spot for a long time and don’t really plan on moving.
