Sarjak Associates

Sarjak Associates is situated in room 303 of the Anand Arcade, which is right in the Karelibaug area of Vadodara. Being located opposite the Amrapali Complex makes it a pretty easy landmark for anyone trying to find us. Our office is up on the third floor, so we get a bit of a view of the street below. The building itself is always full of life, with people from all kinds of different businesses coming in and out of the elevator. Sometimes the lift is broken, and we have to trudge up the stairs, which is a bit of a workout. Inside our space, things are a bit messy. We have stacks of files on the desks and drawings pinned up everywhere. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we know where everything is. The light in Karelibaug can be quite harsh in the summer, so we keep the blinds pulled most of the afternoon. We usually have a radio playing somewhere in the background, mostly just for some noise while we work. We’ve been in this spot for several years and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. There used to be a different shop downstairs, and now it’s something else. We just keep doing our thing every day. It’s a practical workspace for us. We don’t have any fancy meeting rooms, just a couple of chairs where people can sit and talk with us. It’s a simple, honest setup where we focus on getting through our daily tasks.
