Ass World Wide Movers

Our office is tucked away in Sajaji Market, right across from the big Siemens gate. If you know the area, you know it gets pretty busy with trucks and people moving around all day. Ass World Wide Movers is a name that sticks, but we’re really just a small group of guys working with boxes and tape. Most of our time is spent wrapping things up so they don't break. We have stacks of corrugated sheets and bubble wrap piled up in the corner, and sometimes there’s hardly any room to sit down. Moving house is a headache for everyone, and we see it every day. People get stressed out when they see their whole life packed into a carton. We just try to get the packing done and the truck loaded without too much fuss. The weather here can get really hot, especially when we’re hauling furniture down three flights of stairs in the afternoon. We don’t have a flashy website or a big sales team. It’s just us answering the phone and writing down addresses in a ledger. Sometimes the traffic in front of the market makes it hard for our vehicles to get out on time, but we manage. We’ve moved people to the next street over and sometimes much further away. It’s physical work, and by the end of the shift, we’re usually covered in dust and looking for a cold drink near the market stalls.
