Kamdhenu Roadways

Kamdhenu Roadways operates out of B-19 in Sai Nagar Society -1, right on New VIP Road. It’s a residential area that has slowly become more commercial over the years. We started this business because we had a couple of trucks and knew the roads well. Now, our office is basically part of where we live, which makes for a short commute but means we’re always working. New VIP Road is always busy, so there’s a lot of noise from the main road coming into the society. Our days are filled with talking to drivers and making sure the loads are ready to go. It’s a lot of coordination and sometimes things don’t go as planned. A truck might break down or a driver might get stuck at a border, and then we have to spend the whole evening on the phone. We don’t have a big staff. It’s mostly family and a couple of helpers. We’ve been in Sai Nagar for a long time, so all our neighbors know what we do. They see the trucks parked nearby when they aren't out on a trip. It’s a tough business with small margins, but it’s what we’ve built for ourselves. We don’t have any fancy brochures or a website. Most people just call us because they’ve seen our name on the side of a truck or someone told them we were reliable. We just keep moving, one trip at a time.
