Lalji Mulji Transport Co.

We’ve been at Plot No. 346 for a while now. The Gidc Ind. Estate is always busy, especially in the mornings when the trucks start rolling out. Being Lalji Mulji Transport Co. means we deal with a lot of logs, schedules, and keeping things moving from one place to another. It’s a bit dusty here sometimes, but that’s just how it is in this part of the estate. You get used to the sound of engines and the smell of diesel. Our spot is pretty easy to find once you get inside the main gates. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. It’s just a practical space where the work gets done. Most days, someone is drinking chai and looking over delivery notes. We keep our paperwork organized enough to know where everything is, though the desk might look a bit cluttered to an outsider. It’s a local operation, really. We know the neighbors and the guys driving the routes. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, but we just wait it out or find another way. It isn't always smooth, but the trucks get where they need to go eventually. We’ve seen the estate change over the years, more buildings going up and more traffic on the roads, but Plot No. 346 stays pretty much the same for us. It’s a home base where the coffee is usually strong and the work never really stops.
