Sai Mobile Care

If you walk down Manjalpur 2nd Main Road 15, you’ll find Sai Mobile Care squeezed in between the other shops. It’s not the biggest place on the block, but we have enough room for the tools and the spare parts we need. Most of the time, the floor is covered in bits of plastic or old screen protectors that didn't go on quite right. I spend a lot of my day hunched over a magnifying glass because these new phones have parts that are smaller than a grain of rice. It’s hard on the eyes, but it’s the only way to see what went wrong. People come in worried about their photos or their contacts, and I tell them I’ll do what I can. Sometimes the parts we need take a few days to arrive from the city, so there are always a few phones sitting on the shelf waiting for their turn. The air conditioner in here makes a bit of a rattling noise, but it keeps the heat away while I’m working on a tricky circuit board. I don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know how to handle a screwdriver. We get a lot of people asking for cheap covers or chargers too. It’s a steady stream of people from around Manjalpur, and we usually know most of them by name after they’ve been in a few times. It's just a regular repair shop doing its thing.
