R.R. Engineering

R.R. Engineering is located out here in the G.I.D.C. Industrial Estate in Nandesari. We are at Plot No. 134/5 and 6, which is quite close to the S.B.I. Bank. It’s handy having the bank so close for when we need to run errands or handle some paperwork. The workshop is usually a bit noisy with all the metal work going on, but that’s normal for an engineering place like ours. We spend most of our time on the shop floor rather than sitting at desks in an air-conditioned room. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here if you aren’t used to the industrial area, but it’s where all the action is for our kind of work. We started small many years ago and just kept at it, day after day. The tea stall nearby is where we usually take our breaks and talk about the day's work with the other workers from the estate. It isn't a high-tech corporate setup, just a bunch of us working with tools and raw materials. We handle a lot of different requests, mostly from other businesses nearby that need something fabricated or fixed. Sometimes things get hectic when a big order comes in, but we just buckle down and get it finished. The weather gets pretty hot in the sheds during the summer months, but we’re used to it by now. We’ve been at this address for a long time, so most of the locals know where we are.
