Riddhi Metals

Riddhi Metals is based out of F-20 in the BIDC area of Gorwa. We are right across from the Unicure building, which is a big landmark around here. We deal with scrap and recycled metals, sorting through what people bring us. It’s a dirty job, and there’s always a lot of clanging and banging going on. We have a big scale in the front to weigh everything. My brother and I run the place together. We don't have a computer system for the inventory; we just write everything down in a big ledger. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us. The yard gets pretty full of metal piles, and we have to move things around with the forklift to make room for new deliveries. We aren't a polished corporate office. You’ll see us in our work clothes, probably covered in a bit of dust. People come to us because we’ve been in Gorwa for a long time and they know where to find us. We don't have a fancy mission statement or anything. We just buy the metal, sort it, and sell it to the smelters. It’s simple and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. Sometimes we lose track of time when a big truck comes in late, but that’s just part of the daily grind in this line of business.
