Reliable Steel Fabricators is based at plot 126 in the Gidc Industrial Estate in Makarpura. If you’ve ever spent time in an industrial area, you know what it’s like. It’s loud, it’s dusty, and there is always the sound of metal hitting metal. Our workshop is basically a large shed where we spend our hours cutting, bending, and welding steel. It’s hard work and it isn't very clean. Most of us end the day with soot on our faces and grease on our clothes, but that’s just the nature of fabrication. We don't have a posh office with air conditioning. There is just a small wooden desk in the corner for keeping the ledgers and answering the phone. We keep the big main doors open to let the air circulate, especially during the months when the sun is really beating down on the tin roof. We don't go in for fancy marketing or polished brochures. Most of our work comes from people who just know we are here and stop by to see if we can build something for them. Sometimes a customer brings a rough sketch on a piece of cardboard and we sit down and figure out how to make it work. It’s practical, hands-on stuff. We show up early, do the work, and then head home to our families. It’s a basic life, but it’s what we know how to do best.
