You’ll find us at B 170 in the Mathuranagari Society, which is off Old Padra Road here in Vadodara, Gujarat. It’s a fairly easy spot to find once you get into the society area. The office is just a regular house that’s been set up for business. We have desks in what used to be the living room and some filing cabinets in the hallways. Since we’re a recruitment company, there’s always a lot of paper moving around. We spend most of our morning sorting through applications and the afternoons making calls to candidates. It’s pretty standard work, nothing too exciting. Old Padra Road is a major part of the city, so getting here isn't too difficult for most of the staff. The neighborhood is mostly quiet since it's a society, though you get the occasional delivery truck or neighbor passing by. We don't have a big corporate lobby. You just walk in and you’re right where the work happens. We drink a lot of tea to keep ourselves going during the long shifts. Sometimes we have people coming in for interviews, so we try to keep the place looking somewhat tidy, though there’s usually a stack of papers somewhere. It’s just a small group of us working together. We don't use any fancy software, just the basics to keep track of who is looking for what job. It’s a practical way to run things.
