Pragati Steel

At Pragati Steel, we spend our days at 854/2 in the Gidc Estate. Makarpura is a busy area, and being in the estate means we're right in the middle of all the industrial action. We handle a lot of steel here. It’s heavy, dirty work sometimes, but someone has to do it. The shop floor is usually loud. We don't have a fancy front office with leather chairs. It’s mostly just desks and stacks of paperwork near the loading area. We’ve been at this for a while, so we know the rhythms of the estate. Deliveries come in, orders go out, and we try to stay on top of the pile. Some days are smoother than others. When the machines act up, things get stressful, but we manage. We aren't the kind of place that puts out glossy brochures. People know where we are if they need steel. We mostly deal with folks from around the area or other businesses in Gidc. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. We value the guys working out back because they do the hard lifting. We just try to keep things honest and get the orders out without too much fuss. It's a simple operation, really. Just us and the steel and the daily grind in Makarpura. It gets pretty dusty and hot, but that is how it goes when you work here. We stay busy with the local projects and the constant rattle of the trucks that pass by our gates.
