Out in Waghodia G.I.D.C., things are spread out and the sun can be really intense. Pet Metal Private Limited is located at Plot No. 242/1/2. It’s a big industrial estate, so there’s a lot of space, but it’s mostly filled with factories and warehouses. Our facility is a large shed where we handle various metal processes. When you walk inside, you can feel the heat from the machinery and the smell of cooling oil. We’ve got a team of operators who run the shifts around the clock. It’s a lot of hard work, and the floors are always stained with something, no matter how much we clean. We have a small office near the main gate for the administrative stuff, but most of the time is spent overseeing the production. There’s a canteen nearby where most of the guys go for lunch, and that’s about the only time it gets quiet around here. We aren't a corporate giant with a glass building. We’re just a private company doing metalwork in a busy Gujarat industrial zone. Sometimes the water supply is an issue or the monsoon rains make the roads muddy, but we keep the production lines going. It’s about making sure the orders are ready and the quality is okay for the people who buy from us. We’ve been here for a while and we know the rhythm of the estate. It's not a complicated life, just one of making sure the work gets out of the gate on time.
