Our office is on the first floor of the Tin Works building, which is at A-1, just behind Gaurav Society in the Panigate area of Vadodara. The zip code is 390001. It’s a bit of an older building, but it serves us well enough for what we do. Being on the first floor means we don't have to wait for an elevator, which is nice when we are in a hurry. We spend our days looking through resumes and making calls to people looking for work. It’s a lot of talking on the phone and typing. The space is a bit cramped because of all the filing cabinets we have for the paperwork. We’ve got a small window that looks out towards the society behind us. Sometimes you can see the kids playing or people walking their dogs in the alley. It gets a bit noisy during the day with the traffic from Panigate, but we’re used to it. The team here is small, just a few of us sitting around the main table. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If the door opens, one of us just looks up and says hello. It’s a very simple setup. We keep a stash of biscuits in the drawer for when we get hungry in the afternoons. Most of the time, we’re just busy trying to match names with jobs. It’s regular work and we just try to keep things moving along without a fuss.
