I am Patel Rita Manilal and I run my daily affairs from the Sterling Centre in Gorwa. My specific spot is unit number 13. If you are trying to find the Sterling Centre, it’s located right behind the C K Prajapati School. I often hear the school bell ringing throughout the day, which helps me keep track of time without looking at my watch. Gorwa is a lively part of the city and being in the Sterling Centre puts me right in the mix of things. Number 13 is a small room, but I’ve arranged it so that it feels comfortable enough to stay in for eight or nine hours a day. I handle various tasks that come my way, mostly involving a lot of writing and organizing. It’s not what anyone would call glamorous, but it is honest work. I’ve been here for several years now and the other shop owners in the building have become like friends. We share a tea occasionally when things are slow. I don't spend money on marketing because I think being consistent is more important. People know that if they come to unit 13 behind the school, I will be there. It’s a steady routine that I’ve built up over time. I’m just Patel Rita Manilal, making a living in a place that has become very familiar to me.
