We are located at Plot No. 5/2, which is right near the V.H.M office inside the G.I.D.C. zone. The area is pretty much what you’d expect from an industrial estate. There’s a lot of concrete and metal everywhere. We’ve got our setup here for Padmavati Tube Pvt. Ltd., and it’s mostly just about the daily grind. The morning starts with opening up the gates and checking what needs to go out first. It’s a bit dusty, and the air always smells a little like iron. Being near the V.H.M office helps people find us, otherwise, all these plot numbers start looking the same after a while. We don't have any flashy signs or a big reception area. Just a few desks and the main area where the tubes are kept. The guys spend most of their time moving heavy stuff around. It’s physical work. We take our breaks when we can, usually sitting on whatever is handy. The local canteen delivers lunch if we don't bring it from home. It’s not a glamorous life, but we like the rhythm of it. We know the guys at the neighboring plots, and we all deal with the same issues, like the power flickering or the heat in the summer months. We just focus on keeping the tubes organized and the orders moving. It’s been our home for years, and we’re used to the noise.
