Pace Mind Academy

Our academy is located in the Karelibaug area of Vadodara. It’s a familiar neighborhood for most people around here. The building isn't very large, but it has enough room for what we do. We have a few classrooms with desks and chairs that have seen better days, but they serve the purpose. We spend most of our mornings getting the rooms ready. Usually, there's a bit of dust because of the wind coming off the main road, so we have to wipe things down daily. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. Usually, if you walk in, one of us will just look up from our desk and say hello. It’s a very informal atmosphere. We have a small corner where we keep a water cooler and some snacks for when we get hungry. The students come in at different times throughout the day, so the noise level goes up and down. We like being in Karelibaug because it’s easy for everyone to get to by bus or rickshaw. There’s a tea stall just around the corner where we go when we need a break from the books. We don't have any big goals of becoming a huge chain; we just like running this small place and helping the people who come through our doors. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We just take it one day at a time.
