Noorani Masala

We are located on Tandalja Road, over in Taif Nagar. If you know where Gulistan Bungalow is, we are just near there. It’s a busy part of Tandalja, and there is always someone passing by on their way somewhere else. We handle masalas here. It is a small setup, nothing too grand. The shop front is where we see most people. We have various spices in bins and jars. It's nice because the whole area smells like cardamom and cumin most of the afternoon. We started this because there was a need for good spices in the neighborhood. We spend our mornings sorting through the whole spices before they get processed. It’s a bit of a slow process, but we don't like to rush it. Sometimes the neighbors come in just to chat while they pick up their weekly supplies. The road outside can get pretty loud with the traffic, but inside it’s just the sound of the weighing scale and the rustle of plastic bags. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just us and a couple of helpers. We try to keep the place tidy, though the spice dust gets everywhere no matter what you do. It’s a simple business. We close up when the sun goes down and start all over again the next day. It’s just how we do things here in Taif Nagar.
