Our place is D-61 over in the Sardar Ind. Estate on Road No. 4. If you know the Ajwa Road area, you probably know where the estate is located. Nb Metal Pvt. Ltd. has been tucked away in this corner for a while. The trucks come in and out all day, so it gets pretty hectic around the gates. We have a decent amount of space inside, but it fills up fast when the production is high. The guys on the floor know their jobs well and they don't need much supervision. It’s a lot of manual labor and the machines are constantly running in the background. Sometimes it’s so loud you can’t hear yourself think, but you get used to it after a week or two. We drink a lot of tea to keep going during the long shifts. Road No. 4 isn't the smoothest road to drive on, especially after it rains, but we make do. We are just a group of people working hard to make sure the metal parts go out on time. There isn't any fancy lobby or receptionist here. You just walk in and find whoever is available to talk. We don't bother with much advertising because word of mouth in the Sardar Ind. Estate usually brings people to us. It’s a simple operation, really, and we like it that way. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs finishing.
