Mukesh Buffing

Our workshop for Mukesh Buffing is at 253/29 in the G I D C Estate. We are located near the Bank Of Baroda in Asoj. The address is a bit long because it mentions 4th A Main and 7th Cross in Dollars Colony, plus Raj Mahal Vilas 2nd Stage, which can be confusing for people trying to find us the first time. Basically, we are in a busy industrial zone where everyone is doing some kind of metalwork. Buffing is what we do, which is basically polishing metal until the scratches are gone. It is a very dirty job. There is black residue from the polishing compounds that gets everywhere, and the machines make a high-pitched whirring sound all day. We wear masks, but you still feel the grit on your skin. The shop isn't much to look at—just a few benches, the buffing wheels, and piles of metal parts waiting their turn. We don't have any fancy brochures or a front desk. You just come in and talk to us while we work. It’s been our main work for quite a while now. The area is full of other small units, so there is a lot of coming and going. We just try to get the parts looking decent for the customers. It is hard work on the arms and back, but it is what we know how to do for a living.
