M/S Shalimar Paints Ltd.

Our office is tucked away in the Nakshtra Tenements in the Manjalpur area of Baroda. We are right near Sanman Park and the Pramukhprasad Chokdi. It’s a decent neighborhood and a bit quieter than the main industrial zones of the city. M/S Shalimar Paints Ltd. uses this unit, 12-B, to keep things organized for this region. It’s more of a residential-style building, which makes it feel a bit more relaxed than a typical corporate park. We have a couple of rooms where we keep our files and meet with local contractors who need our products. The parking can be a bit tight when we have deliveries coming through, but we make it work. Most of us live nearby, so we don't have a long commute, which is a nice change from the city traffic. We aren't doing any high-pressure sales here. We mostly deal with the technical side of things and keeping track of where our paint is going. It’s a simple life. We have tea together in the afternoons and talk about the local news or what's happening at the park nearby. The office isn't anything special to look at, just plain walls and some old metal desks, but it’s where all the real work happens. We like being part of the community here in Manjalpur and have been in this spot for a good while now. We just get on with it and try to stay organized.
