You can find Polycoat Industries over in Akota, specifically at 8-A Shrinagar Society. The easiest way to explain where we are is to tell people to look for the Jain Temple. We are right near it, and you can often hear the morning prayers if you get in early enough. Being in a society like Shrinagar means we have to be a bit mindful of our neighbors, but everyone around here is used to us by now. The work we do involves a lot of coatings and industrial materials, so there’s usually a faint smell of chemicals or paint in the air around our unit. The building itself is pretty plain, just a functional space where we keep our drums and mixing equipment. We have a small yard where we load things onto the trucks, which can be a bit of a squeeze when the temple is busy with visitors. Akota has changed a lot since we first set up shop here, but the Jain Temple remains the constant landmark for everyone. Our team is small, mostly just local folks who have been doing this for years. We don’t have a big marketing budget or a fancy website. We just focus on getting the coating batches right and making sure they get sent out on time. It’s steady work, and while it isn’t always the most exciting thing, it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday without much of a break.
