Ministry Of Defence(Army)

We are based at the Station HQ in Fatehganj, right here in Vadodara. It is a pretty busy spot with a lot of military activity going on every day. Being part of the Ministry of Defence, specifically the Army side, means things are done in a certain way. Our address is 390008, which most locals know is near the main hub of the city. The office isn't anything fancy, just a lot of desks, old metal cupboards, and stacks of files that need looking after. Outside the window, you can hear the traffic from the main road, but inside it stays relatively quiet because of the thick walls. We spend a lot of time on paperwork and managing the daily logistics for the station. The weather in Gujarat gets really intense, so the ceiling fans are almost always spinning at top speed. People come in and out all day for various approvals or to drop off documents. During lunch, some of us go out for a quick bite at the small stalls nearby, or just sit in the back with our tiffins. It is a steady environment where we just focus on the task at hand. There is a lot of history in this part of Vadodara, and you can feel it when you walk through the gates every morning. It is just a regular, hard-working office keeping things moving for the army day in and day out.
