Metal Perforators And Fabricators

We are out here in the GIDC Industrial Estate at Plot No-J-294/6. Being in an industrial area means it is always noisy and there is a lot of heavy machinery moving around. At Metal Perforators and Fabricators, we spend our days dealing with big sheets of metal. We have machines that punch holes and others that bend the steel into the shapes people need. The air usually smells a bit like oil and hot metal, which is just part of the job. We wear heavy gloves because the edges can be sharp. It is hard work and your back usually aches by the end of the shift, but seeing a finished pile of perforated sheets ready to go is a good feeling. We don't have a fancy office; it is mostly just the workshop floor and a small desk where we keep the site maps and the order books. The roof is high to keep the heat from building up too much, though it still gets quite warm in the middle of the summer. We have a small crew and everyone knows what they are supposed to be doing without being told too much. We just take the raw metal, follow the specs, and get it ready for the trucks to pick up. It is a gritty place but we take pride in doing the fabrication properly without any fuss or complicated talk. We just focus on the metal and the machines.
