Metal Master India

People around here know us as Metal Master India, and we have been working out of this spot at S 2 Atladra for quite some time now. Being right on Veer Savarkar Marg means there is always something going on outside our doors. Since we are directly opposite the Atladra station, we get used to the sounds of the trains and the crowds moving back and forth all day long. It’s a busy corner of the city. Inside the shop, things are usually a bit loud because of the metal work. We have piles of materials stacked up near the back and the smell of grease is just part of the air here. Sometimes the dust gets a bit much, but we just sweep it out and keep going. My desk is tucked in the corner where I try to keep the paperwork organized, though it usually ends up under a layer of soot. Most of the guys here have been with us for years, so we all know how the machines sound when they are running right. It’s not a fancy place by any means. We have some old chairs for when people stop by to talk about a job, and the tea guy comes around twice a day which is the highlight for most of us. The lights flicker a bit in the back room but we haven't gotten around to fixing that yet. It's just a regular workspace where we get things done and then go home when the sun starts setting over the station tracks.
