We are based in Baroda at Ff/1 Hariganga Appt. It’s right near the Mehta Girls Hostel, which is usually how people find us if they get lost. Gujarat summers are no joke, and the office can get pretty warm even with the fans going full blast. We’re on the first floor. It’s a bit of an older building I think. You can see the stairs are worn down from all the years of people walking up and down. We handle insurance stuff for Max New Yourk Life Ins Ltd, so there is always a lot of paperwork on the desks. It feels like we are constantly filling out forms or checking folders. The office isn’t huge but it fits us. Being in a residential apartment building means it stays relatively quiet, except for when the girls from the hostel are out and about. We usually have a lunch break around one. Most of us bring tiffins from home. The smell of home cooking fills the room for a bit. It’s nice. 390019 is the pin code if you’re mailing us something. Sometimes the mail gets mixed up with the neighbors. We just walk over and swap letters. It’s a simple way to work. We don’t have fancy coffee machines, just a kettle for tea. It does the job. Life in Baroda is steady and we just keep moving along with it. We don't have a big corporate lobby here, just a simple room with some chairs.
