Maruti Suppliers

We are over at Plot No. 44/B in the Kareli Baug Housing Society area. It’s on VIP Road, which is usually moving pretty fast. Maruti Suppliers is a local operation. We don't have a massive warehouse, just this plot where we keep our inventory. The housing society is right behind us, so we have to be careful about not making too much noise too early in the morning. We supply things that people need for their houses and local projects. I’ve lived in this area for a long time, so I know a lot of the families around here. It’s a bit different from a big industrial zone. We have to keep things relatively neat. The weather can be a bit of a pain, either it's too dusty or too muddy when it rains. I spend a lot of time on my old computer tracking what comes in and what goes out. It’s just simple work. We don't use any fancy management software, just a basic log and some common sense. If someone needs a specific part or material, we try to find it for them. Sometimes we can't get it, and we just say so. People appreciate that honesty more than a promise that can't be kept. It’s a steady pace here. We open up, check the gate, and wait for the first customer of the day. It’s not exciting, but it’s a living.
