Pavitra Trade

Pavitra Trade is operated from A/103 in the Amrapali Society, which is located in the Manjalpur area of Vadodara. It is a nice change of pace because it feels more like a neighborhood than a cold industrial park. Our office is a simple room that we have set up with everything we need to handle our daily trading activities. There is an old calendar from three years ago still hanging on the wall because nobody has bothered to take it down yet. We spend a lot of our time on the computer or making calls to various suppliers and customers. It is usually just a couple of us here, so it stays fairly quiet most of the time. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids play cricket in the lane outside, and we can hear them through the window. We don't have a sign outside or anything like that, so people usually just look for the house number. The printer we use is quite old and jams at least once a day, which usually results in someone grumbling while they try to fix it. We drink a lot of masala chai throughout the day to keep us going. We have lived in Vadodara for most of our lives and we like the slow, steady rhythm of this part of town. There is no pressure to act like a big corporation here. We just do our work, manage our accounts, and enjoy the quiet environment.
