Shree Ranchhodray Masala Mill

If you ever walk down R.M. Squarebank Road, you can probably smell us before you see us. Shree Ranchhodray Masala Mill has been around for a good bit now, and the smell of ground chilies and turmeric is pretty much stuck in the walls. It’s a loud place, too, with the machines humming all day long. We spend most of our time making sure the grinders are running right and the bags are filled up properly. R.M. Squarebank Road is a decent enough location for us, even if the parking is a bit of a nightmare during the middle of the day. We get a lot of local folks coming in for their monthly supply of spices. It’s dusty work, and you definitely go home with orange stains on your clothes, but it’s what we do. We don't have a marketing team or a fancy website. Most people find out about us just by walking past or hearing from a cousin. The mill itself isn't much to look at from the outside, just a practical building where the work gets done. We have a couple of guys who have worked these machines for years, and they know exactly how to listen for when something needs fixing. It’s a simple life, really. We open up early, get the spices ready, and talk to the regulars who stop by to complain about the heat. It’s just how things go around here every day.
