Transweld is located at 21/1 Makarpura. If you know the area, you know it’s packed with small businesses and factories. Our shop is just one of many, but we’ve made this space our own over the years. It’s mostly filled with welding equipment and various metal parts that are waiting to be worked on. The floor is concrete and usually covered in some kind of dust or scrap metal. We keep the doors open to let the air circulate, otherwise it gets too stuffy with all the welding going on. We don’t have a big staff, just a few people who are good with their hands. Most days start with a cup of tea and a look at the list of what needs to be welded. We don’t use any complicated systems, just basic tools and some old-fashioned hard work. It can be quite a struggle to keep everything organized when we have several different jobs going at once. You might see a stack of pipes in one corner and some flat sheets in the other. It’s not pretty, but it’s functional. We aren't interested in looking like a big corporation. We’re just a local shop in Makarpura where you can hear the hum of the power tools from the street. We do the work, clean up a bit at the end of the shift, and come back to do it again the next day. No big mystery.
