Shree J. D. Metal Corporation

Shree J. D. Metal Corporation is my business, and you can find us at Plot No. 873-898-b2 in the Gidc Ind. Estate. Even though the name sounds a bit formal, we are really just a local yard dealing with metal. Most days the yard is piled high with different materials, so it can be a bit of a scramble to get around. We spend our time sorting through things, cutting metal to size, and helping the truck drivers load up. It is tiring work and you definitely get dirty, but it feels good to stay busy. This part of the estate is always full of noise and movement, which is fine by us. We don't have a receptionist or a place for visitors to wait. If you come looking for me, I’m usually out by the scales or working the cutter. Many of the guys working here have been with me for a decade. We are more like a family than anything else. Sometimes the price of metal drops and we have to be careful with our spending, but we have survived the lean times before. We just keep the gate open and the equipment running. It’s not a fancy life, just a straightforward metal business where we try to treat people fairly and get the job done without any unnecessary fuss. That is how we have always done it.
