We’ve been here at the Gidc Ind. Estate for a long time now. You can find us right on the Main Road, not too far from the Voltamp Company. It’s a busy spot with trucks going in and out all day. We deal with steel, and honestly, it’s loud, heavy work. There is always the sound of cutting or welding going on in the background. Our team is just a bunch of local guys who know their way around metal. We don’t have any fancy offices or shiny waiting rooms. Most of the time, we are just covered in dust and focused on getting the orders ready. The sun hits the metal roofs in the afternoon and it gets pretty hot, but that’s just how it is working in an industrial area. People stop by to ask about different steel pieces or just to check on their orders. We try to keep things simple here. There aren't many bells and whistles to what we do. It is just about cutting, shaping, and moving steel from one place to another. Some days are more chaotic than others, especially when a big shipment arrives and blocks the entrance for a bit. We’ve grown used to the rhythm of the estate. It’s a practical place for practical work. We just show up every morning, open the gates, and start working on whatever needs to be done for the day.
