Shikotar Fabrication Works

If you come down to the Gidc Ind. Estate, you’ll find us at Plot No. C-1-761. Shikotar Fabrication Works is basically just a workshop where we deal with metal and welding. It’s dusty and there are always sparks flying somewhere. We’ve been at this plot for a good amount of time. The estate is always busy with trucks coming and going, so there is plenty of noise around. We don't mind it much. My brother and I started this after working for other people for years. We decided we’d rather be our own bosses, even if it means more stress. Most of our tools have been with us since the start. They aren't new, but they work just fine for what we do. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the sign on the gate. People usually find us because they saw our work somewhere else. The tea stall around the corner is where we usually take our breaks. It’s a tough job sometimes, especially in the summer heat, but we like seeing the finished product after a long day of cutting and joining. We don't use big words or fancy talk here. If something needs fixing or making, we just look at it and figure out the right way to get it done. That’s how we’ve always operated at C-1-761. The floor is always covered in some kind of metal shavings by the time we leave for the day. We just sweep it up and start over again the next morning. It's just what we know.
