Sheel Enterprise

We are over at Plot No. 854-1-d. Sheel Enterprise is a small operation, really. We share this part of the GIDC Industrial Estate with a few other workshops. It can get a bit cramped when we have a lot of raw materials delivered. You have to be careful where you walk so you don't trip over a pipe or a crate. We don’t have a lot of staff. It’s mostly me and a few guys I’ve known for years. We do what we can with the tools we have. Sometimes we have to borrow a specialized wrench from the neighbor. That’s the nice thing about being in the GIDC; everyone is in the same boat. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just do the work and hope people like it. The office is just a desk in the corner with a lot of old files. It’s dusty work, especially in the dry season. We keep a cooler of water in the shade because the heat gets tough. We handle a variety of small orders. It's not glamorous. Some days are just about cleaning the machines and prepping for the next week. We take pride in just showing up and doing the job. If you need something specific, we usually figure out a way to make it happen. We don't have many meetings, just a quick talk in the morning about what needs to get done.
