Pravin Steel (India)

Pravin Steel (India) is situated at Plot No. 757-C in the Gidc. It is a big metal building that gets quite hot when the sun is beating down on the roof. We have stacks of steel pipes and sheets sitting around most of the time. It takes a bit of work to keep everything sorted so we can find what a customer needs. We use a lot of heavy lifting gear because steel isn't light. The sound of metal clanging against metal is the soundtrack to our days. We don't have much in the way of a front desk, just a small table where we sign the papers. Most of our time is spent out in the main area moving stock or cutting pieces to size. The floor is rough and you definitely need good boots to work here. We aren't big on talking about ourselves. We just focus on the inventory and making sure the trucks get loaded correctly. Sometimes the rain leaks in through a small hole in the roof, but we just put a bucket under it and keep going. We've seen the estate grow over the years, with more buildings popping up all around us. We just stay in our corner and do what we've always done. It's a straightforward business with no real surprises. We're here from morning until evening, Monday through Saturday.
