Down at Plot No. 620 in the Gidc Ind. Estate, you will find Niko Industrial Products Pvt. Ltd. It is a big industrial area, so finding the right plot can be a bit of a chore if you aren't used to the numbering. We have a decent-sized space where we keep all the industrial supplies. Most of the day is spent unloading crates or packing up boxes for local deliveries. It is a lot of paperwork and checking lists to make sure we didn't miss a bolt or a gasket. The shelves are packed pretty high, and we use a small ladder to reach the top stuff. It’s dusty work, as you’d expect in an industrial estate. The air is thick with the smell of rubber and metal. There is a small fan in the corner that doesn't do much, but we keep it running anyway. We don't really have a big sign out front, just the number on the gate. People who need us usually know where to go. We keep a regular schedule, opening up early before it gets too hot and heading home once the trucks are all gone. It is a steady way to spend the day, just making sure the industrial parts get where they need to be.
