Newmek Industries

Newmek Industries is located over at Plot No. 336-34-3-2 in the Gidc Ind. Estate. If you’ve ever spent time in this part of the industrial area, you know how it is. There is always a layer of dust on everything and the sound of trucks reversing nearby. We spend our mornings opening up the gates and checking the equipment. It’s not a glamorous place by any means. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’ve been too busy with the actual work to worry about that. We’ve been based at this specific plot for a while now. Most of the people working here live close by, so there is a familiar feeling when we all show up for the shift. The Gidc Ind. Estate can be a bit of a maze if you aren’t used to the numbering system, but once you find Plot No. 336-34-3-2, you’ll see our sign. We don't have a big corporate lobby with fancy chairs. Usually, there is just a desk with some old ledgers and a kettle for tea. We focus on getting through the orders we have for the week. It’s a lot of repetitive tasks, but that’s the nature of the industry we are in. We don't make big claims about being the best; we just try to keep things moving along so we can go home at the end of the day.
