J V R Engineering

J V R Engineering is located at Plot No. 967-5 in the Gidc Ind. Estate. We share this general area with a few other businesses, so it gets pretty crowded with trucks and deliveries. Our shop is where we spend most of our waking hours. It’s not a glamorous life, but it keeps us busy. We have the usual setup for an engineering place. There are drills, saws, and a lot of scrap metal tucked into the corners. We try to use up what we can. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait around, which is frustrating but that's just part of being in this area. We drink a lot of water because of the heat. The roof is corrugated metal and it really picks up the temperature in the middle of the day. We’ve gotten used to it. Most of our tools are old but they still work just fine. We don't see the point in replacing something that isn't broken. If you come by, you’ll probably find us mid-job. We don't really have a waiting room or anything fancy. Just a few chairs if you need to sit. The work we do is solid. We don't make promises we can't keep. We just look at what needs to be made and we start on it. It’s a simple way of living. We’ve been at 967-5 for a good stretch now.
