Laxmi Enterprise

Laxmi Enterprise is over at Plot No. 304-6-5, which people around here call Ganga Pujan, inside the Gidc Ind. Estate. The shop is tucked away a bit but we are easy enough to find if you know the plot numbers. We spend most of our days dealing with the supplies that come in and out. There is always a lot of lifting and moving crates around the floor. The space isn't huge, but we make it work by stacking things carefully. It gets dusty because of all the traffic in the industrial estate, so we are always sweeping. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or two, and we just sit outside on the steps and talk to the guys from the next plot. We started out with just a few basic items and now the shelves are pretty full. It is a family-run kind of thing, so there is usually one of us here from morning until late evening. We don't use fancy computers for everything; a lot of the notes are just written down in big ledgers. People stop by to ask for prices or to see if we have specific parts in stock. It is a simple way of doing business but it has worked for us so far. We just try to keep things organized and make sure the orders are ready when someone comes to pick them up.
