Lalit Metal Corporation

We are tucked away behind the Purohit Hotel in Vadodara. The address is 898/1/5 in GIDC Makarpura. It's a bit of a maze back here if you don't know the turns. Lalit Metal Corporation is where we spend our days dealing with various metal supplies. We have stacks of inventory that take up most of the room. It’s a practical setup. There’s no air conditioning in the main storage area, so we drink a lot of tea to stay moving. The hotel nearby is a good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. We've seen a lot of businesses come and go in this part of Vadodara. We’re still here, though. Our floors are concrete and usually have some scrap lying around. It’s just how a metal yard looks. We don't use big words or fancy titles. Someone calls, we check the stock, and we let them know. It’s simple. Most of our day is spent loading or unloading trucks. The sun hits the roof pretty hard in the afternoon. We usually close up once the light starts fading. It’s a regular job for regular people. We don't have a big marketing department or anything. It's just us and the metal, day in and day out. We try to keep things organized, but when a big shipment comes in, the place gets pretty crowded for a while.
