Kuber Buffing Works

Our shop, Kuber Buffing Works, is over at Plot No. 755-8 in the Gidc Ind. Estate. Buffing is messy work, so we are always covered in some kind of polish or dust. It's a small place, and it gets pretty loud when all the wheels are spinning at once. We spend a lot of time hunched over the machines, making sure the finish is okay. It’s hard on the back, but we take breaks to stretch. The Gidc is a busy area, so there's always trucks rattling by outside our door. Sometimes the dust from the road blows in, which doesn't help with the cleaning. We have a regular routine. We show up early, turn on the lights, and get the machines warmed up. There’s not much to look at in the shop, just a few racks for the parts and our work stations. We don't spend much on decorations or fancy office chairs. We’d rather just have good wheels and compounds to work with. Some days are busier than others, and we might stay late if a big batch comes in. We’ve been doing this for a while now, so we know the quirks of our equipment. It's not a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy and we like the people we work with. Most of the guys have been here since the start.
