Jagetiya Metals

Jagetiya Metals is sitting right at Plot No. 502/1-A in the Gidc Estate. It is a metal shop, so it’s usually loud and smells like iron and cutting oil. We spend the day cutting pieces to size and moving heavy sheets around the floor. It’s hard work on the back, but we’ve got a good routine going. The floor is usually covered in scrap, which we have to clear out every Friday afternoon. Our office is just a small corner with a desk that’s seen better days. We don't really do much besides handle the metal orders that come in from the local builders. Sometimes the trucks show up late and we have to stay an extra hour to get everything loaded, which isn't great, but it happens. We don't have a website that works right or any fancy brochures. Most people find us because they saw our sign or someone told them we had what they needed. It’s just a regular workplace with regular people. We try to keep the machines oiled and the blades sharp. It isn't a glamorous business, but it keeps the lights on and everyone paid. We’ve seen a lot of businesses come and go in the estate over the years, but we are still here at the same plot, doing the same stuff every day. Usually, someone is around if you need to pick something up.
