Gayatri Machine Tools

Gayatri Machine Tools is situated at Plot No. 378-a in the GIDC Ind. Estate. It is an old-school kind of workshop. We have various tools and machines scattered around the floor. There is always a layer of oil or dust on things, but that is just how it is when you are working with metal. We started out with just a couple of guys and have not grown into some massive corporation. We prefer it small. It is easier to manage when you know exactly what everyone is doing. The building has some character, which is a nice way of saying it has seen better days. But the roof does not leak much, and the machines run well enough. We get our coffee from the guy who walks around with the thermos every morning. That is about as fancy as it gets for us. People come to us because they know we are right here in the GIDC and we do not charge for things they do not need. We do not use big words to describe our work. We just cut, grind, and fix things. Sometimes we lose a wrench and spend ten minutes looking for it. It is just a typical day in a typical machine shop. We do not have any slogans or colored logos on our shirts. We just wear what is comfortable and get to it.
