Eagle Fabricators

Our workshop is at Plot B-152 in the Por Industrial Park. Most people know the area because of the Sahyog Hotel, which is right behind us. It’s a good landmark because the hotel is where many of us end up grabbing a quick bite during the day. At Eagle Fabricators, the sound of metal hitting metal and the bright flash of welding torches are constant. It is a gritty, physical job that requires a lot of patience and a steady hand. We have a yard full of steel beams and scrap metal that we move around with a small crane. The ground is mostly dirt and gravel, which gets muddy when it rains, but we just put on our boots and keep moving. We aren't a big corporation with multiple branches; it’s just this one spot in the Por GIDC estate. The people who work here are good with their hands and don't mind getting dirty. We don't have a fancy website or a bunch of brochures. If someone needs something built or repaired, they usually just walk in and talk to one of the guys on the floor. It is a straightforward way of doing business that has served us well for a long time. There is a certain satisfaction in seeing a pile of raw steel turned into something useful by the end of the week. We just keep our heads down and focus on the task at hand.
