You’ll find us at Plot No. 893-4 inside the GIDC Industrial Estate. It is a big industrial area, so there is always the sound of machinery and trucks in the background. Our building is pretty plain, just a functional space for us to do our design work. We aren't into fancy storefronts. Inside, it’s mostly desks, computers, and a few workbenches for when we need to look at parts or prototypes. The air can be a bit heavy with the smell of nearby factories, but that’s just part of being in an industrial estate. We spend our mornings going through emails and our afternoons tucked away in the workshop area or at our screens. It’s a lot of technical stuff. We deal with dimensions and materials all day long. Sometimes we lose track of time and realize it’s dark outside and the estate has gone quiet. We keep a small kitchen area for making tea, which is pretty much fuel for us. People who visit are usually suppliers or clients who are used to this kind of environment. We don't put on a show for anyone. We just focus on the task at hand and try to make sure everything we design actually works when it gets manufactured. It’s a no-nonsense kind of place. We’ve been here long enough that the guards at the gate know us by name. It’s just where we work and we like the routine.
